Ah-Roma
Six days richer,
still not complacent-
never satisfied like
humming tomatoes
heavy with juice.
The light is fine-
sure isn’t the sun that’s missing.
I could do without
the sand in my toes.
Still need a clean sock,
I can taste this one’s
Ah- ROMA…
it’s an ant farm here,
at least it explains the decay.
