I am in the belly of a whale,
a situation you predicted,
but my shoes are still fitting fine.
I forgot to throw punches at the door
and the Holy-water
was on empty.
It’s funny,
the times you enter me
like the devout recalling
the scent of rose from their pilgrimages.
You rest picturesque like
scaffolding that clangs too loud
-consonants of conservation-
so I won’t forget you.
